Maureen Tan, 
Founder, Owner, and 
Event Coordinator
A graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana in 2009, Maureen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  Centenary and her chosen field has led her to a life of "organized creativity."  Her meticulousness for organizing has allowed her to coordinate events without ever missing a deadline, but her love of creating has allowed her clients to see their visions through without breaking their banks. Maureen's event planning experience offers nothing less than the utmost confidence to her clients.  

In December 2012 Maureen began a course in Wedding and Event Planning with the Sheffield School in New York City.  She hopes to complete her course and gain her certificate in Wedding and Event Planning by years end of 2013.  Maureen has chosen to begin this course so that she might further her knowledge and hone her skills to ensure that Southern Belle's Events offers nothing but the very best for her clients.  

"I'm not here to take away from my clients visions or exploit their budget like some event planners. This is why I call myself a coordinator instead. I'm here to make and see your vision, your dream, come to life without over-indulging on the cost. At the end of the day, I want my clients to look back and think of how much FUN they had planning their event; not how hard or stressful it was."

Elizabeth DeVincenzo, Assistant Event Coordinator
Elizabeth comes to Southern Belle's Events with 20+ years of event planning experience ranging from corporate events of 250+ guests to every day meetings.  Her expertise also includes organizing fashion shows, bridal fairs, and so much more!

About Southern Belle's Events
Founded in 2011, Southern Belle's Events was created out of a passion for making people's dreams come true while maintaining their budget.

Southern Belle's Events is family-owned and home-based right here in the Greater Philadelphia area.  Though we service both the Shreveport, LA and the Greater Philadelphia, PA areas it does not mean our services stop here!  Southern Belle's Events will travel to your event location up to 50 miles at no extra charge. Locations beyond 50 miles from either serviced area will require further fees that are determined on a per event basis.

Other companies may offer similar services, but our event planning services are the best, and come with a personal touch and a conscientious mind to be budget friendly.

How We Operate
Southern Belle's Events understands that sometimes your budget has limitations.  With that in mind, 
our goal is not to let that limit your dreams for your special event!  

Our specialty is in actively researching to find you amazing venues, services, or products that enhance your vision without downsizing your budget.  To help maximize your budget, our services also include helping to create custom centerpieces, menus, decorations, and much more.  

Unlike other similar services, Southern Belle's Events also makes sure to include our fees into your budget so that there are no last-minute added surprises.
